Project Overview
The Problem 🚩
- VR Galaxy Lounge is Tampa’s go-to spot for jaw-dropping VR experiences - from wild escape rooms to wellness sessions in the metaverse.
- But when it came time to launch their new nonprofit, VRGLI.org, they were missing a key piece - a website that could educate, inspire, and drive applications.
- In partnership with the University of South Florida, they were launching a unique program to help students with disabilities learn trades like HVAC, electrical, and plumbing through virtual reality training.
- They needed a futuristic, action-packed website to show off the program, attract students, and wow donors.
The Process 🔄
- We kicked things off with a deep-dive strategy session to understand the mission, content needs, and goals for VRGLI.
- Then we built a 7-page site from the ground up - complete with an About page, Programs page, “How VR Works” section, Get Involved page, News & Events blog, and an easy Contact page.
- We incorporated sleek hover effects and lively Lottie animations to give the site a high-tech, futuristic vibe.
- Donation and application links were added throughout the site to make it easy for supporters to contribute and for students to apply.
- We installed Google Analytics and Search Console to help the team track performance and optimize growth.
- To top it off, we conducted advanced on-page SEO to help the new site get discovered by search engines and future students alike.

- The new VRGLI site launched looking sharp, feeling modern, and functioning like a dream.
- The USF partnership team was thrilled with the final result and immediately began sharing it with students and faculty.
- Interest in the program started rolling in, and VRGLI now has a powerful online presence to promote success stories, share upcoming events, and grow their mission.
